Gate Change Alerts are planned for the TrackMyWings launch: a push notification to your phone when the gate for a flight you follow changes.
The point is simple: catching a gate change will not depend on watching the departure board.
How quickly an alert arrives will depend on when the change reaches the airport and airline data TrackMyWings will read. That path has not been measured, so no timing figure will be quoted.
Status alerts are planned alongside gate alerts, covering delays and cancellations.

Open trackmywings.com in any browser. The Android app is in private beta on the Play internal track.

From the home screen, navigate to the Gate Change Alerts section in the app.
