No. Flighty's own App Store page, read on 2026-09-09, lists Compatibility for iPhone ("Requires iOS 18.0 or later"), iPad ("Requires iPadOS 18.0 or later"), Mac ("Requires macOS 15.0 or later"), Apple Vision ("Requires visionOS 2.0 or later") and Apple Watch ("Requires watchOS 11.0 or later"). A search of that full capture for the word "Android" returns zero matches. If you're on an Android phone, Flighty is not an app you can install today, whatever a friend's iPhone screen might have shown you.
What Flighty's own page actually says
Five Apple device families, each with a minimum OS version written next to it, is the whole platform story on Flighty's own page. The page also carries "151K Ratings 4.8" and an "Editors' Choice" badge, both as of the 2026-09-09 capture. Its free version, described on its own pricing page, includes "unlimited flight tracking, live pilot-grade data, Flighty Passport, access to Flighty Friends," without early alerts or detailed flight history. None of that changes the platform answer: everything on the page is built for Apple hardware, and nothing in the listing points at a second, Android version of the same product.
Flighty's rating and reviews sit on the same page as the Compatibility block, so a five-star average on an iPhone says nothing about how the app would behave on a device it has never shipped to. The badge and the rating describe the Apple product that exists, not a hypothetical Android one.
What it costs on Apple's storefront
Flighty's In-App Purchases block, captured from the US storefront on 2026-09-09, reads exactly as follows: Pay-As-You-Go $4.99, Pro Annual Savings $59.99, Flexible Monthly $9.99, Annual Savings (Family) $119.00, Lifetime $299.00, Flexible Monthly (Family) $15.99, Lifetime (Family) $449.00, Add Family to Lifetime $199.00, Annual Savings (Family) $139.00. That's the list reproduced as captured, including the two rows both named "Annual Savings (Family)" at different amounts; the capture doesn't say which one applies to which plan tier. Every figure is the US storefront on that date, and there's no verified Flighty price for India, so none is printed here. None of this changes with the platform, since the App Store only ever bills the phone it's installed on.
You might see a claim online that Flighty is building an Android version, sometimes with a waitlist attached. We checked: flighty.com/android returned a 404 on 2026-09-09, and every source behind that claim traces back to someone else's secondhand post rather than anything Flighty has published. Treat it as unconfirmed until Flighty's own site says otherwise.
What an Android user can do today
One app in this category ships on Android right now, by its own listing.
byAir's Play Store listing (package com.byairapp.android, checked 2026-09-09) puts it on Android and iOS, plus Apple Watch and Wear OS, with form factors listed as Phone, Watch and Tablet. Its own description covers a live flight tracker with terminal, gate, route, distance and remaining-time fields; a "byAir Predict" monitoring window starting six hours before departure; Friends and Family Sharing by invite link; and alerts that reach the home screen, lock screen and Wear OS. Its pricing isn't public: the listing shows only the label "In-app purchases" with no amounts, so there's nothing to quote there.
FlightElite doesn't count yet either. Its own /compare page describes the product as an iOS app with an Android version still in private beta, checked 2026-09-09, which puts it in the same Apple-first position Flighty is in, just with an Android beta already running behind the scenes rather than nothing at all. Neither Flighty nor FlightElite's own page claims a public Android release today; byAir is currently the one that does.
How TrackMyWings helps
TrackMyWings™ is our own product, and everything below is our current status, not a claim about anyone else's app. A private beta shipped on 2026-08-24, Android only, on the Play internal testing track with a group of named testers. It is not a public download, and public launch has no fixed date. The planned free tier, once there's a public app to put it in, is Free (Limited) with a multi-flight watchlist capped at 3 slots. If you're specifically looking for something that works on Android, we're a beta to keep an eye on rather than something to install this week, and the honest answer is that there is nothing to download yet.
Questions people ask

Unconfirmed. flighty.com/android returned a 404 on 2026-09-09, and the claims circulating online about a waitlist all trace back to secondhand posts rather than anything Flighty has published itself.

Does TrackMyWings run on Android? Yes, but only as a private beta on the Play internal testing track since 2026-08-24, open to named testers. It's not a public download yet, and there's no fixed date for public launch.
