Aircraft Tracking
Follow an aircraft by its registration, planned for launch.
Aircraft Tracking is planned for the TrackMyWings launch: search by an aircraft's registration, its tail number, as well as by flight number or route.
A registration stays with the aircraft from flight to flight, so following the aircraft will show the legs it flies whatever flight number it carries.
Aircraft type and age are planned on flight pages on the free tier.
The aircraft's recent route history and a personal fleet of aircraft to follow live are planned for paid plans.
Positions will come from community ADS-B networks, so an aircraft will appear only while a ground receiver hears it: coverage will be dense over land near populated receiver networks, and thin to absent over oceans.
How to use Aircraft Tracking

Open trackmywings.com in any browser. The Android app is in private beta on the Play internal track.

From the home screen, navigate to the Aircraft Tracking section in the app.

Configure notifications and personalisation settings to match how you travel.

Search by flight number, scan your boarding pass, or browse by route to add a flight.
